BUILDING A DREAM
Our rich history derived from the hard work and dedication of founders, Leon Turner and Cashwell Willis. Turner built the company in 1965 with a vision for providing premium quality timber and joinery products to customers in the local area.
The duo were quickly able to establish Turners Building Supplies which soon gained a solid reputation for quality building supplies in the Canberra, Queanbeyan and ACT region. Through word-of-mouth and self-promotion, the Turners brand has continued to maintain a solid reputation as a trusted supplier in the building industry.
Those founding principles remain very much alive in Turners Building Supplies today.

When Leon retired, he sold his share of the business to his colleagues son, Brett Willis, who took full control before passing the torch on to his daughter, Carley, and Geoff Allen.
